Overall, the watch is in excellent condition. The dial is in excellent condition. Dial and hands retain original tritium. The watch case remains unpolished, very sharp, in excellent condition. The bezel is in very good condition, showing a beautiful patina to the red and blue. The watch was recently serviced, all functions intact, keeping accurate time (270°; +6s/d). The chronograph as well as the GMT hand work properly. Make no mistake – this is the mother of all 70s GMTs by Heuer, the elusive MK1. It is a very rare watch, even more so in this incredible condition. The watch comes with its original Heuer box. It was acquired from a seasoned collector in Rome, Italy.
